The Cookie Trail Sign
The scouts entering the camp knew that they were about to start their summer adventure when they saw this sign.
The sign is no longer there. Its whereabouts are unknown. It may have been taken down by the Magic Empire Scouts when they sold the property to a local family who already owned the land adjoined the camp.
The local family bought the property from the Girl Scouts and they still own the property today.
The new owners tried to reopen the campgrounds as a public camp and recreation area several years after the murders but the venture only lasted a couple of years. The memories of the murders kept guests away.
