Spider in Lavender

The lavender has just about done its stuff for the summer and just a few flower heads left. I never bother to cut and dry it, as I love where it grows and then when you brush against it coming up the path, the aroma diffuses and fills the air. Even when the flowers are over, the leaves and stems still continue to provide the scent, as there is actually more essential oils present in those parts of the plant than in the flower heads.
