5th June 2017 Cuckoo wide angle habitat
Today was the 190th time out of 190 attempts I have had a Cuckoo on my chosen perch. This particular bird has only ever let me down 2 times in this 4 year period and the 2 times he never came down my other hides saved the day. He always leaves June 16th and if this is the case again I will make it 200 out of 200 before he goes. No decoys no callers are used with this bird and he simply waits for me putting some food out each day. Praying he returns in 2018 for a 5th year as he is a very special bird to me. www.scottishphotographyhides.co.uk
