Sea defences at Dawlish Warren

The sea defences, in the form of large rocks along this stretch of coastline are crystalline, bluish grey, igneous rock Larvikite from Larvik, not far from Oslo, and Dartmoor Granite. There are also (as pictured) burnt looking rocks that presumably are waste materials.
