Islay-sanaigmore bay

taday we further explored the island, driving to sanaigmore bay. we visited the appropriately called outback gallery close to sanaigmore bay. a great coffee in an amazing gallery. we went to the bay then stopped off at the memorial to the victims of the "Exmouth of Newcastle" 241 irish (mostly women and children) immigrating due to the great famine who lost their lives on their journey to Quebec.

next step in our vacation was a week on Islay in the lovely village of Portnahaven. what a location and the cottage was amazing. the scenery and distilleries would be hard to beat
