After lots of hard work and payment for a good spray job the MK4 was finished -but also added GL chrome strips and a MK5 grille like so many others did but why o why did i not replace the old number plates!! -but about a month later i ran into a mk2 Escort driven by this young lady who anchored on when seeing a yellow traffic light on a wet ring road and wollop! -i did rpair it though and sold it to a work mate in early 87.
