Orange Bishop 1 - Vancouver, British Columbia
This is the first in a set of three shots of this Orange Bishop. Each shot shows this type of bird in different pose and at a different age. This one appears to be a young bird, but I am not an expert. In this shot, the rear feathers are quite visible. The Orange Bishop is native to Africa, but this bird resides at the Bloedel Conservatory in Vancouver, Canada. The photo was taken in March 2010, with an Olympus digital camera. Enjoy.
