Orange-throated Parrot Finch - Vancouver, British Columbia
I photographed this orange-throated parrot finch during one of my visits to the Bloedel Conservatory. Although I have seen and posted red-faced parrot finches, this is my first one with an orange face. These parrot finches are native to New Caledonia and Australia, but now have a comfortable home in Vancouver. The photo was taken in November 2016, with my trusty Olympus digital camera. Enjoy.
