Crafty Chameleon 2 - Mount Haleakala, Maui
This is a photo of a Jackson's chameleon and is the next shot in my crafty chameleon series. After observing this chameleon hunting among the flowers for insects (as seen in the earlier shot), I discovered that the chameleons were using a wire fence to move back and forth through the area. Not only did this strategy avoid surprises on the ground, but there were numerous low hanging branches and vines that offered additional escape routes from pesky photographers. :) The photo was taken in February 2014, with my trusty Olympus digital camera. Enjoy.
