While Nasingin island has access to abundant fish, water needs to be ferried in from freshwater wells on larger islands. Traditional banka boats, are used for transfer of water in 20L jugs (price 20p, or $.38 USD), as well as other goods and people from the larger island of Bohol. The 20L water jugs are repacked into 500ml baggies for a more economical price point.
