Surplus military pistol, M1911A1. Made by Colt, Originally supplied to the Gov't in 1943, it was rebuilt at Marine Logistcs Base Albany (GA) by the USMC in 1980. It does not appear to have been used since.
Slide is Ithaca, a somewhat rare part
Barrel is HS for High Standard firearms company.
There is not "all original" by any stretch of the imagination, but is 100% Government Issue! What a great program to distribute history to the people.
