Dual Fuel - or Dual Fool? 4/95 and 11/94 Coleman Lantern
Amazing the difference storage can make! Left is my 11/94 and right is the 4/95 that was a last minute deal on FB really cheap. It was an excuse to go for a ride in the convertible - this Coleman Dual Fuel lantern from 1995 came with about a quart of fuel and a nice black plastic case.
I did not really need another of this type, but some spare parts and my "save a lantern" mentality dictated that I try anyway. Added fuel to the fount and a damp spot appeared. Slight poke with a sharp knife opened the hole. Glad I got this and it did not end up with a person without some skepticism of liquid fueled appliances, especially as the PO says he used it all last summer.
Already resold the lantern to a fellow collector for my cost, so have a nice case and some fuel for the cost of car ride!
