THE GOOD FRIDAY VESTMENT: The centerpiece of the "saya" is an "escudo" with Maria Salome acronym surmounted by a "ducal" crown. The ducal crown is surrounded by seed pearls. The twin "jarras" on either side sprouts forth more fanciful bouquets which frames the escudo. The three large strap work motifs features bouquets bunched by graceful ribbons which is a Jojo Canlas (La Paloma) trademark. The serrated (pointed arches) hemline is gothic inspired.

The "blusa" has a large single strap work motif and also features a bouquet of flowers bunched by a graceful ribbon.

The cape is made of silk velvet with sporadic flowers and gothic inspired borders.

The use of drooping flowers on the vestment symbolize mourning.
