when Sam and I were discusing the possibilities if an XXL Peregrine I initially wanted it to be made of nice steel tubing, that proved to be a bit too expensive to go with, he suggested Titanium as he has great faith in his fabricator, I was a little unsure, my history with Ti frames wasn’t great
However I was happy to trust Sam completely, and he was proven to be right, this Ti Peregrine rides just as nicely as my steel prototype but fulfils my tall aesthetic ideas completely, particularly now its built with bigger tyres and no mudguards as I originally envisaged it
And, the steel fork complements the frame really well, I’ve no desire to change it to carbon or Ti
