Designed by Malcolm Oastler as the third Jaguar chassis since their purchase of the Stewart Formula One Team. Following a dissapointing previous two seasons, 2002 proved even worse for the team.
The team admitted mistakes in the design stages, especially during wind tunnel testing, were the calculations were later proved to have been wrong.
After an Impessive fourth place for Irvine in the Australian GP, the cars lask of power and reliabilty began to show. Updates late in the season did improve things, culminating in a 3rd place for Irvine in the Italian GP at Monza.
Resulting in a seasons 7th place in the Constructors Championships and 8 points for Irvine with de la Rosa failing to score points.

This is a car that finished 3rd at Monza driven by Irvine in the 2002 Italian GP, the car was offered as a prize in a Sky Digital TV interactive competition with the final taking place at the Jaguar HQ in Milton Keynes. And won by Adrian Dawn of Beeston, Nottinghamshire, Adrian kindly offered the car to Tom Wheatcroft for display at the Donington Collection
