Operator: Thomas Lockett (Coal Merchant) Hednesford, Staffordshire

The Morris LC range has it's origins in pre-war times with the LC 25 and 30cwt range of vans and trucks. Around the time of the merger in 1952 Morris was about to launch the third generation the LC4 (there had been no LC2). It was superseded about a year later by the LC5, available only as a 30cwt due to the competing LD forward control van.

This tipper, registration OSJ 182 is in the livery of Hednesford Coal Merchant Thomas Lockett.
