The Bond Equipe was first introduced at the Earls Court Motor Show in 1963, with a Triumph Herald based chassis and a fastback fibre glass body with Triumph fittings.

The 2 litre GT was lauched at Earls Court in 1967, using the similar Triumph Vitesse chassis and a Triumph 1998cc straight six engine. The body styling though similar was larger and smoother again in fibre glass. In 1968 the 2 litre GT was joined by a convertible version
