The Lincoln Mark VIII is a grand touring luxury sport coupe designed by Kyu Kim was introduced in October 1992 for the 1993 model year, The first generation of the Mark series branded entirely as a Lincoln, the Mark VIII again served as a counterpart of the Ford Thunderbird and Mercury Cougar. Built on the FN10 chassis, a derivative of the MN12 platform which has been developed for the Thunderbird and Cougar. Through its six-year production run, the Mark VIII was manufactured by Ford at its Wixom Assembly Plant (Wixom, Michigan).
