Introduced in 1920, with a gaurentee of 50mph, along with the Wolseley 15, 14, and 14-40, the 16-35 was powered by a 2576cc engine, with multi-disc clutch a three or four speed gearbox with right hand change, worm axle, quarter elliptic suspension and Vickers-Timken roller wheel bearings. When tested by a contemporary journal, the Daily Despatch the car was described as - What this class of vehicle should be like (a rave revue for the 1920s).
