Bodied by Murray, The Model A (1927-31) was Fords second huge sucess. Not sold until 2nd December 1927 when production ended in March 1932 4,849,340 models had been produced. The engine was a 201 Ci water cooled 4 cylinder giving 40 bhp, Manufactured in the USA, Argentine, Germany, Ireland and England and available in numerous body styles. European car were taxed according to engine size and the European cars were fitted with a smaller 2033 cc engine which still atracted an anual car tax of £ 24. The 1930-31 models received a new enlarged radiator and hood.
This all steel amazing example of a 1930 Model A Roadster comes with its original rear rumble and dickie seat as well as new upholstery is finished in two tone Washington Blue coachwork with black wings. Its original 4 cylinder 3285cc engine has been converted to a 12 volt system with starter motor
