The post-war Fourteen had an entirely new coachbuilt body. When supplied for export with the lighter all-steel body, the car was known as the Lanchester Leda

Introduced at the 1952 London Earls Court Motor Show, which apart from its fluid flywheel was a totally different car from the Lanchester LD10. Priced at £ 1144 inc. taxes at launch.

Both Lanchester and Daimler were owned by BSA and a six cylinder Daimler version the Conquest was to follow. The 60bhp Fourteen was considered pedestrian in comparison and it was the last full production car to bear the Lanchester name.

In 1956 six prototype Lanchester Sprite's were built but that car did not enter series production.
