MG X-power SV (Sports Veloce) After acquiring Qvale Automotive (Italy) and with a view to US sales plans to produce an MG based on the Qvale Mangusta were hatched. Unlike the base model SV, the SV-R was offered with a choice of either manual or automatic transmissions, as well as a factory approved nitrous oxide kit from the MG ZT-T Bonneville world record car, which pushed the power output to an estimated 1,000 bhp (700 kW). .
