Considered an occasional four seater the DB 2/4 Mk.1 was introduced with an engine of 2580 cc with the 2922 cc introduced in 1954.
The Mark II version was available for model years 1955-57 distinguished by a more angular rear wing than the earlier incarnation and with a more robust rear axle of the 199 Mark 2s, 145 are hard top Coupes, 34 Notchback and Hardtops and 24 DHCs. Late Mark2s were available with a hotter camshaft and 165bhp
