Fastback conversion on a Sunbeam Alpine II by Hove coachbuilders Harrington, with an extented glass fibre roof, allowing increased headroom and additional baggage space than the factory bodied hardtop.

Extra refinement includes a wood rim steering wheel and electronic rev counter. Hartwell tubed versions available with 100bhp.

 

The second generation B Series followed in 1962 again on based on the Alpine II but with a full fastback, full length chrome side trim and no tail fins, overdrive standard plus options, that included wire wheels and 105mph in stock form.

 

A few C Series conversions followed based on the Alpine II but differances mainly concentrated on the interiors
