During the 1950's Harry Ferguson began developing a four wheel drive system for cars. The system became known as the Ferguson Formula and was adapated to some experimental Ford Zodiac Mk.III Police Cars, the Ferguson FF race car and on the Jenson Interceptor FF.
This is one of the prototype vehicles used to develope the FF system. It has four wheel independant suspension and Dunlop disc brakes all round which use a Maxaret anti-locking system.
This one is registered as having a 1642cc engine, though conflicting reports suggest a 2.2 litre horizontally oposed four cylinder engine
