The De Macross GT1 is powered by a supercharged 5.4 liter Roush Yates V8 engine that delivers a total of 845 HP Ford V8 breathed on by Roush and mated to a six speed manual gearbox.
Designed by the founder of the company, Korean oil mogul Jahong Hur, The engineering was done in Toronto, Canada, by Multimatic, The transaxle comes from Ricardo, and there are front and rear alloy subframes holding the DSSV suspension in place. DSSV also reportedly supplies the Red Bull F1 team and cars. The car is said to weigh 3,200lbs and reach 62mph from a standstill in 3.1 seconds while reaching top speeds of over 230mph and is priced at around $ 1.5 million.
