Westward/Perseverance Q13 Inspection Saloon kits.
This picture may go some way to explaining my interest in the WSR refresher working. Ever since the well-known railway journalist and modeler Chris Leigh built and reviewed this brass and white metal kit in The Model Railway Constructor, May 1986 I have wanted one. A few years ago my friend Bill was willing to let me have his kit for a very reasonable price and since I have acquired 2 more part-built kits from EBay, all will eventually be completed in different liveries. These kits were first marketed by Perseverance kits before being taken on by Westward, I’m not sure when the production was stopped.
