This is Hercules wrestling the Nemean Lion, the vas depicts Heracles first of his twelve labors bestowed by King Eurystheus to sly Nemean lion and bring his pelt back as proof. The vase is a black style background with a yellow color of Hercules pinning the lion down and suffocating him tell death . Dating back to 480 B.C. In the Late Archaic period from the University of Pennsylvania Museum.
