Beautiful beetle

I was leaving the forest and just happened to look down at a clump of vetch and saw this amazing beetle which is called Nuttall's Blister Beetle. In Canada, this beetle can be found in our prairie provinces: Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. In the United States, its range is from Idaho south to Arizona, east to Minnesota and New Mexico. It prefers legumes which explains why it's on the vetch.
