Precious baby bunny

Hi Everyone!

 

The Brokenhead Wetland Interpretive Trail is a lengthy boardwalk that goes over the wetland habitat. Visitors are asked to stay on the boardwalk of this very unique habitat that is home to a wide range of flora and fauna.

 

Those of you who have followed me know that I am always on the lookout for wildflowers. I was stretched out on my belly sideways taking images of a Bishop's Cap with my macro lens. I didn't want anyone passing by to trip on me. Suddenly this precious baby bunny came into view! I do not think I've ever seen one so little and fuzzy.

 

I was unable to move because of the physical situation I was in, plus I didn't want to scare the baby. All I could do was keep clicking. This is one of several shots. Eventually, the baby feel asleep under the leaves. I don't think it ever knew I was there.
