Mommy, I'm scared

Hi There!

 

This was probably the youngest gosling that I've ever encountered. It never really quite opened its eyes and kept peeping. The parent was close by and seemed to be encouraging the precious gosling to swim away from the safety of the shoreline. It was one of those times that my heartstrings were pulled the whole time I was taking images.
