The day that broke Chicago's Heart.

On Monday December 1,1958 about 2:30 P.M. in the afternoon all HELL broke lose on the westside of Chicago. A Catholic grade school Our Lady of the Angel was on fire and some of the classes on the second floor were trapped. The fire turn out to be the worst school fire in history. 92 children and three Nuns died as the result of the fire and wrecked one of the well grounded perish on the Chicago westside.It stirred up a lot of people to look into making sure all school in our nation needed be safer by changing the building codes.
