Travel dilemma... Suggestions/Comments/Opinions welcome.
I want to maybe travel soon but I'm not sure what to bring. I do want digital for the ease of seeing what I'm photographing right away and backing up to phone and cloud with built in wifi in case of theft or loss but I definitely want to start exploring film and slides. I want capability but I also want freedom and ease of very little gear. Is a happy medium the answer or should I go stealthy? Perhaps capability is paramount and I should bring everything, besides I don't get to travel often and it is my favorite hobby. I have to bear in mind that I can only use one body and lens at a time when taking a photo while everything else just sits there in the backpack. The 24 and the 40 are my most used lenses. I also have to think about ease at airports and having to carry everything all the time when I'm at a hotel. Manual focus is okay but I have kids I like to photograph too. But I love landscape images and low light capability is always welcome for indoor and nighttime shots. I'm glad I have some options but... what to do???!!! Please share your thoughts you may have from personal experience. Thanks!
