Timanfaya: the truth
I'm claiming this is the most truthful shot of Timanfaya National Park I can find on Flickr.
The good news: the landscape is absolutely breath-taking.
The bad news: the only way to see the best bits is on a specially constructed toy town road on which only coaches are allowed. The coaches depart every few minutes (see shot), you are not allowed off to take photos and you have to listen to a cheesy Wagnerian background tape to enhance your viewing!
In this shot I have tried to capture the surreal bus-ride-on-the-moon feel to the whole experience!
