stray dogs

These photos resulted from a year spent in India photographing the stray dogs present on almost every street of every village, town and city. I travelled all around the vast country, seeing dogs in every situation imaginable. I hope these photos show them as part of life on India's streets - I fell in love with the spirit of these creatures, so similar to our pet dogs, yet so different.
