Frozen Charlotte
This piece is in a wonderful, embossed tobacco tin about 5.5" x 3.25". The background is a foto, the face is dried clay and the figure is a china doll. The figure is not an authentic frozen charlotte doll -- to be authentic, the figure should be all cast in one piece, no jointed arms, but this was all I had. The story of frozen Charlotte is that she went to a ball on New Years, but refused to bundle up -- she was frozen when she arrived.
