Serial restorer
Put in some time in the hobbyshop this week. The one in the foreground belongs to my blue 1978 Masi Prestige and did just need a light cleaning. The yellow infills are original and of course made by a beautiful Italian maiden. The middle seat post was bought on ebay and it will be put on my 2010 Masi Prestige. I had to spend some hours to get in this shape and I think it mimics the original finish quite well. My personal opinion is that many seat posts are overpolished. I will of course restore the paint infills. The last one will end up on my 1979/80 De Rosa Professional. Same here - had to restore finish and I have to add some paint.
