I have heard some comments on the Master Piu with C-record beeing my beater bike. Very simple explanation:
My only defence is that I have been collecting old bikes since around 1985. This was my racer, bought new as a frame and built up in 1989 with whatever modern parts I had at hand at the moment. C-record was not collecting material at that time - it was just good parts. The old stuff I collected then was from the 50-60-ies. It took some 20 years until I realized that - "hmmm look at those C-record prices...maybe that stuff is old also".
