'Where The Wild Things Are...'

Well, here I am. Soldiering on, doing what I do. Entering my 6th year in the Lego AFOL hobby and community, I cant help but notice that many of the builders who were around when I started have disappeared. I know many who build in certain themes often get burnt out or feel like they have done what they wanted to do and so stop posting mocs. Its a great shame but its also nice to see so many new builders come through and amaze with their new ideas. After the amount of castle builds I have been doing this year I should be burnt out myself but I still enjoy the challenge of pushing forward. It looks like I have been inactive but quite the opposite. Even though I cant post the majority of my castle stuff for a while I do have the odd moc I can post. This was originally built for Halloween but I didn't finish it in time, so as usually it got put on the back shelf and hung around for another month until it had another use. It is now used as an example from my new Medieval Guide I am doing exclusively for Bricks Magazine where over the next 12 issues I will be showing you how to achieve models like this. Only one picture as the rest are all for the magazine.

So not much castle stuff will be appearing on my Flickr for a while as its all kept secret for the book. So, I need to post other stuff!!! Incoming mocs....Sherlock Holmes, Pirates, Donkey Kong Country and other random stuff :)
