For reference as to the rate of flow over the falls, on this day the USGS Hydrologic Station at Happy Isles pegged the average there as 1160 CFS; ten days later it recorded an average of 2440 CFS - which was the high day of the Spring Season in '08. My guess is that on that peak day, with more than double the flow shown here, one would need a wetsuit on the Lower Falls bridge!
