Shots I took in the lovely historic town of Asolo and it's surroundings. Asolo, located in the Regione Veneto, about sixty kilometers north west of Venice and at the very foot of the southern Alps, has been for centuries a meeting place for artists of all genres. The list of famous people who have been here and also resided here is very long - Ernest Hemingway, Henry James, Eleonora Duse, Arnold Schönberg, Gian Francesco Malipiero, Igor Stravinsky, Manuel de Falla, to only name a few.
