Hohnstein castle at night and during snowfall - a cropped version

Also this castle gets illuminated at night...We saw this almost right from the doorstep of the little vacation apartment we had for four days, not only right below the castle but also right at the beginning of the spectacular path leading along the sandstone cliffs and grottos above the wild Polenztal valley.

This was particularly magical with the snow falling in front...
