RFO, 1837 + 6702

Eempolder, 10 December 2020.

The DM'90 DMU's were taken out of service at the end of 2017 by NS when their last diesel operated service ceased. After that they spent a long time standing in Nijmegen and had originally been sold to a company in Romania. After a deadline had been missed to transport the trains to Romania, the sale was cancelled. The trains had to be moved to the port of Amsterdam to make space in Nijmegen and the trains were put on the market again. A large number of them have been bought by the Polish operator SKPL with the first sets moving to Poland in November 2020. In December space had to be created in the port of Amsterdam so many of the sets have moved to Amersfoort for the time being, before heading off to Poland. I will be sure to search for these trains in Poland once they are in service!

Passing through the Eempolder we see Rail Force One loco's 1837 and 6702 with NS 3432 + 3447 + 3439 + 3449 on their way to Amersfoort.
