FAT Easy Fat

 

For this project, I was asked to recreate the packaging of a product to in some way bring out the truth in what the product actually does. We were then asked to repackage our product and install it in the store where it would normally be found.

I decided to change "KRAFT Easy Mac" into "FAT Easy Fat". I chose this product for two reasons. The first being that everyone keeps telling me to eat more Easy Mac because it's so fattening. The second, less obvious, yet more ironic reason, is that I don't gain weight when I eat it. To emphasize this point, I changed the "contents hot" warning label on the back of the package to be the disclaimer "Except for Morgan; she is apparently incapable of gaining weight."

A few other things I tampered with on the packaging were things like the fat content of a single serving as well as the amount of calories per serving, and because I changed the brand name from "KRAFT" to "FAT," I also changed all the logos and shipping information to comply with that alteration.

Now maybe people will see that it's not my fault I'm thin; it's not like I don't try to gain weight. it's just that food doesn't affect me the same way as it does most people.
