Momento Mori

Basically that refers to something that reminds us of mortality. Black vultures definitely do so.

However on this day I saw this bird carefully trying to do the opposite and trying to bring life to this earth. It had chosen this barn as its nest and I waited for it to come sit on the window so I could photograph this composition.
