A Crested Caracara that looks like a hawk, acts like a vulture and is actually a falcon is primarily a scavenger that reaches the southern limits of Texas, Florida and Arizona. Birds that are primarily scavengers are at a rapid decline throughout the world faster than any other species. We probably need them more than any other species as well.
