Sun and sand

Found this male Snowy sitting out in the open, with the sun shining bright. Though one would argue that this is not there natural habitat, I would say it is, at least in the winter. He kept jumping from dune to dune, I believe in search of prey. Snowy Owls are both day and night time hunters.
