This lovely pink rhododendron can be found in the gaardens of Homestead Park here in University Place, WA.

 

Seed Parent x Pollen Parent: Cilpinense x mucronulatum 'Cornell Pink'

 

Predominate Flower Color: Pink

 

Flower / Truss Description:

Flower openly funnel-shaped, wavy lobes, 2⅜" across, purplish-pink with deeper purplish-pink spots, reverse purplish-red. Held in ball-shaped trusses of 3-7 flowers.

 

Fragrant: No

 

Bloom Time: Very Early
