gorfram says: These curving back-to back staircases are really striking. At first, the mirror-image stairways and doors led my eye to expect symmetry elsewhere, but most of the other elements - lamp post, balcony & window, traffic light, bicycle - are asymmetric.

gorfram says: The chaffinch and the misty Scottish loch behind are soft-edged and organic, and contrast with the hard black man-made elements. I like thinking about the path of the photons that hit the side of the car, were reflected into the mirror, and finally made it through the camera lens and came to rest. (Do photons ever get tired? I know I would be.)
