Front Bracket Fixing
This shows the final bracket and Klickfix fitting. It was cut and made from 2mm aluminium plate. The cables have to be routed inside the bracket so that they don't get fouled. Depending on the weight of the bag, the top of the V brake can rub the bottom of the bag slightly, so ideally the fixing plate could do with being 10mm higher. However its tight, as then you may foul the handle bars/brake levers. I added a solid plate behind the fixing on the bag which holds it forward and prevents the V brake rubbing it underneath when it's fully loaded.
The Klickfix bracket remains unmodified (to ensure the bag sits far enough foward) but the screws have been replaced with 50mm long bolts, washes and locknuts which attach it to the front plate on the aluminium bracket via four drilled holes.
